Fourth: PSBD's success in organizing the First International Conference on the Role of Private Security Sector (ICRPSS) held from the 14th to 15th of January 2009 and which incorporated a spectrum of security officers from around the world in the presence of His Highness the Minister of Interior.

 

Fifth: PSBD successfully held and organized a number of important forums to raise the awareness about the importance of private security companies in the northern emirates under the title "Private Security Protects Your Investment" held in Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah in 2011, depending solely on self-efforts and without having the Ministry of Interior incur any expenses.

 

Sixth: PSBD obtained the ISO certification, hence ranking first among the Ministry of Interior's various departments in a record time of 10 months.

 

Seventh: In cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, PSBD partook in the Joint Teamwork category in Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program and reached final competitions.

 

 

Eighth: His Excellency Director of PSBD won The Minister of Interior's Award in its first edition for the year 2011 in the “Best Supervising Officer” Award category.

 

Ninth: PSBD’s success in having an international draft law passed through the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) in Vienna with the aim of preparing a new international guidebook for the governance of private security sector in the year 2011.

 

Tenth: Six of PSBD’s security officers and personnel won His Highness the Minister of Interior's Award in the Ideal Employee Award category in 2012.

 

Eleventh: PSBD’s success in establishing international relations and coordination, the outcome of which was receiving a number of delegations from the UN, Qatar and Lebanon, and similarly delegations were sent abroad on scholarships to the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore and India, something that contributed to consolidating the stature of the Ministry of Interior and the UAE both on the regional and international levels.
